How often should I service my Suzuki Jimny?

For normal road use, follow Suzuki’s 10,000 km annual service intervals. Off-road or dusty use: reduce oil changes to every 5,000 km.

What oil does the JB74 take?

5W-30 fully synthetic. Capacity approximately 3.3 litres with filter. Always verify with your regional owner’s manual.

Is the JB74 timing chain a known problem?

Rattle on cold start has been reported on some early JB74 units. Suzuki has issued revised parts. Ensure any applicable warranty work is complete.
