- Secure the vehicle on rated axle stands on firm, level ground, with the wheels chocked. The vehicle must be level for the fill level to be correct.
- Loosen the fill plug first. Confirm it will open before you drain anything. Clean around it first to keep dirt out.
- Position the drain pan under the drain plug (the lower plug).
