Sarah Okafor
Technical Writer
Sarah Okafor is a qualified automotive technician and Compact Conqueror’s Technical Writer, working on her third-generation Jimny JB23 since 2019.
Background & Experience

Sarah trained and qualified as an automotive technician and spent eleven years turning spanners professionally before joining Compact Conqueror. She writes the maintenance and DIY guides that owners actually follow in their own driveways — with the torque figures, fluid specifications and safety warnings that matter.
Her own JB23, bought in 2019, doubles as a long-term test bed: oil changes, brake jobs, transfer-case services and the small fixes that keep an older Jimny reliable. If a procedure appears in one of her guides, she has done it herself.
Areas of Expertise
- Routine servicing and maintenance schedules
- DIY repairs: oil, brakes, fluids and filters
- Third-generation JB23 ownership (660cc K6A turbo)
- Diagnosing common Jimny problems by generation
- Tools, torque specs and workshop safety
