Background & Experience
Marcus holds a 4×4 guiding licence and has led trips across South Africa, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique. He covers off-road technique, trail reports and recovery — the practical craft of getting a small, light 4×4 through difficult terrain and back out again safely.
He has run his fourth-generation JB64 since 2017 across everything from Lesotho mountain passes to Kalahari sand. His trail guides are written from the driver’s seat; where a route is outside his first-hand experience, it is published under our researched editorial byline instead.
